Sea World and santa's house...

Today was such a busy day!!! After Taylor got home from preschool, we drove down to San diego to go to Sea World with my sister and her kids! It was so much fun, there was NO ONE there! I have no idea why, but i wasn't complaining! Then we went back to my sister's house to have pizza, then we were headed to Santa's house! A couple in San Diego decorate their house with a bunch of Christmas decorations! It's amazing. You can also take your picture with Santa and afterwards you get hot chocolate, cookies and a present that the kids get to pick out! My sister-in-law told me about it! Thanks Cheryl!!
My sister's Jennifer and Heather and I!
Every single room is decorated differently!
The whole gang!
Grace and I waiting to go see Santa
This is their backyard, and it's my favorite part. They have fake snow while you are walking through the village!

I heard about the big Christmas tree at Fashion Island and really wanted to take my kids there, so last night Rob and I took them! We had a lot of fun until it was time to see Santa. First of all, the people who worked there already hated us when we asked to use our own camera and it was the end of the night so they were totally over the whole pretending to be nice thing and besides that Grace and Olivia were screaming becuase they hated santa! Grace kept saying " I don't like Santa Claus". Taylor loved it though! (it would be perfect if I could just crop Grace and Olivia out!) :)
Taylor in front of the big Christmas tree. (she loves to pose!)

My mom and Grandpa came up for Sunday dinner and the girls got to open one early present from Grandma Diane! Now Taylor keeps asking me everyday if she can open a present!

Thanksgiving Part 2...

Robert's Family came down to Orange County for Thanksgiving since my sister-in-law Emily just had her cute little baby a week ago and there was no way they were going to drive to St. George for thanksgiving this year! It's been really fun so far, we had Thanksgiving at my house yesterday and ate some really great food!

Emily getting the food ready!
All the kids ate out in our garage! It was nice not too have them out there, although all they ate were the cute chocolate suckers their Grandma brought! :)
Michelle and I ready and waiting to eat!!!!
On another note, we decorated for Christmas today! Rob's family helped us, it was a huge task! I really don't like getting all of the stuff it, but it's so worth it when it's done!! This year we are going to Park City to spend Christmas at my twin sister's house! I can't wait!!

Halloween Trunk or Treat....

Last night our ward had a trunk or treat and the girls had so much fun! They were dressed up as Hula girls and they were so excited to put their costumes on! It was a lot of fun watching them trick or treat afterwards too because Grace and Olivia are finally old enough to kind of know what's going on, plus now we have lots of yummy candy at home!!

Yes on Proposition 8

My sister had this on her blog and I thought it was awesome!

YES ON PROPOSITION 8 in California

You've been tagged. PLEASE READ THIS no matter what state you live in.

Failure to pass Proposition 8 will hurt children. If gay marriage remains legal, public schools will put it on equal footing with traditional marriage. Children will likely receive “age appropriate” information about sexual relations within heterosexual and homosexual marriages.

Failure to pass Proposition 8 will hurt churches. The court’s decision will inevitably lead to conflicts with religious liberty and free speech rights. Society will become more and more hostile to traditional beliefs about marriage and family. Over time, greater acceptance of nontraditional marriage will be demanded of all people. This could impact the ability of any religion to teach and practice its beliefs. Including adoption agencies.

A YES vote will not hurt gays. In California, the law provides for marriage-related benefits to be given to civil unions and domestic partnerships. Proposition 8 does not diminish these benefits.

For your information:
On Friday, October 10th, 2008 a first-grade class took a field trip to witness a lesbian wedding in California. Click
Here for the article from the San Francisco Chronicle.

A father in Massachusetts was frustrated when his kindergartner was taught about homosexuality at school by the teachers. He insisted he be notified in the future before such things were discussed so he could pull his boy out of school. He was taken to jail. Click
Here for the story.

A Catholic adoption agency In the UK closed their doors because of the Government's new homosexual equality laws. The Equality Act forbids discrimination in the provision of goods and services on the basis of sexual orientation. The law was forced through Parliament last year despite past Prime Minister Tony Blair's recommendation that Catholic adoption agencies be exempted from the rules. Click

Earlier this month judges in Conneticut overturned the state law (just as the judges in California did) to legalized gay marriage. This is not just an issue in California. We voted years ago to keep traditional marriage as the only marriage recognized in the state of California, 4 judges overturned our vote…and we need to fight back. That is what this Proposition is about. This is happening everywhere and the leaders of the church and others have warned that the outcome of California’s vote will affect the way the other states vote. So PLEASE…even if you don’t live in California, put this on your blog or email this on. The internet knows no state line. You know contacts in California that I don’t…and so do your friends. Please pass this on as it could eventually have an effect on everyone!

"Occasionally discouragement may darken our pathway; frustration may be a constant companion. In our ears there may sound the sophistry of Satan as he whispers, "You cannot save the world; your small efforts are meaningless. You haven't time to be concerned for others." Trusting in the Lord, let us turn our heads from such falsehoods and make certain our feet are firmly planted in the path of service and
our hearts and souls dedicated to follow the example of the Lord."
--Thomas S. Monson

You know contacts in California that I do not...as do your friends and their friends...and so on. Please do this. Pumpkin Patch..

We went to the pumpkin patch on Friday night and the girls had so much fun! It was WAY too overpriced though! They definitely raised their prices from last year! It's a really place to go though and I love this time of year!

St. George Marathon...

So the picture above is the picture we took before we knew really what we were getting into! Little did we know it was going to rain the ENTIRE time that we were running and we wouldn't be able to walk the next 5 days!! I'm sick of having to walk down my stairs backwards! I'm like an old lady with a broken hip or something! And I'm not talking just sprinkling here and there, I'm talking RAINING! Before we even started our feet were soaked! I'm so glad that the Marathon is over! Supposedly that is the 2nd time it rained on the marathon day in 25 years! What are the chances seriously!!
Here's a picture Sara's husband took of me running, I only had a mile left and I was DYING!
You can't really tell in this picture, but we are completely soaked! My goal was to finish the race in 4 hours and I actually did it! I was soo excited and I'm even more excited to not run for the next 2 months!!

Olivia vs. Grace...

This is Olivia a month ago, she started screaming and decided she wants it to be part of her daily life. I'm convinced she enjoys screaming! She got it from Taylor and now Taylor is over it, so hopefully Olivia can grow out of it too! (you're gonna want to turn down your volume if you listen to this!)

Grace on the other hand is our sweet child! (for now anyway) Her and Olivia kind of trade places, but for a while now Grace has been the "good" one! Notice in this video Olivia is in the background laughing, totally thinking that she's on the camera too!

While Rob was gone...

I decided to paint! Robert went to the BYU game this last weekend with his dad and brothers and I knew he was so sick of house projects, so I decided to paint on my own. It was really annoying because I used a paint brush the whole time, I was too lazy to get out all of the other stuff!
On another note, look how crazy my girls hair is if I don't put it in ponytails! I hope they don't end up with hair like mine!!

Family Pictures...

My friend Lisa is AMAZING at taking pictures and I asked her to take our family pictures! I'm trying to get a christmas picture! yes it's a little early, but I just had to get it over with!!

Grace
Olivia, was not very happy this day because she didn't take a nap, so it was pretty hard to get a good picture of her! (this is pretty much the only one)

I had to document this, I mean it doesn't happen very often when you have 3 kids! :)
