Fondant Flower

This is my first time trying to make a flower out of fondant....I think it looks more like a blob of fondant instead of a flower. I guess I need to wait until someone else has a birthday so that I can try again :)

pom pom obsession

Sometimes I become obsessed with a project and pom pom's is one of them. I'm seriously obsessed! After I made christmas garland I just had to make this St. Patrick's day garland and I better go so that I can finish a Valentine day one before my kids get home from school! It's crazy I know.... :)

snow white's visit...

I forgot to add that at Christmas time, not only did Santa come and visit, but Grandma had Snow White visit the kids too. All of the kids were ready for bed and they were putting together a snow white puzzle and in walks Snow White. The girls were so excited, it was adorable!

what I've been up to...

I made 3 of these heart garlands (thanks to pinterest) using paint samples from lowes! :)
I finally made the pillows for my couches and I got my lamp shades in the mail, now I just need to find a coffee table (preferably yellow or green) for the room and then maybe, finally I'll be happy with this room. This has definitely been the hardest room for me to decorate for some reason! Oh and I might need to change the coral pillow that Rob called "pink" since it definitely doesn't go with our family room.:)

Christmas 2011 part 2...

Right after we got back from Utah for CHristmas, we were headed to a beach house in Coronado. We all had our own cottage right next to each other and the kids had SO MUCH fun playing in the sand and at the beach together.
All of the kids at the Hotel del Coronado to look at the pretty Christmas lights there.

All of the adults went on a fun bike ride along the beach. It was for sure the most beautiful bike ride I'd ever been on!!

We went to the Gaslamp "Strip Club" where we got to cook our own food, it was delicious!

My mom rented out the sandcastle man (that's really what he calls himself) for 3 hours, where he taught us all how to make some really cool sandcastles.
The girls collected seashells
We took pictures by many christmas trees:)
We ran on the beach...
and played some games
We had SUCH a great time! I'm so grateful for my family and in-laws for making our Christmas sooo special!!!

Christmas 2011

This is our Christmas with pictures in no particular order...this is what we did...
The kids went swimming during the day while the adults went in the hot tub at night! Thankfully the Judd's have neighbors with a pool who always let us use it!
We stopped by the cabin for some delicious food and an adult game of Twister (which was hilarious to watch!)
Christmas Sunday!!
On Christmas Eve, after all of the adults had everything laid out, we put sheets over all of the presents so that the kids couldn't see any of them before we went to church that next morning at 9. The kids were surprisingly okay with that...really weird :)
this is me concentrating really hard on...
making these for Christmas day!
The Nativity
Santa Claus came to the Judd's house to deliver some pajamas before CHristmas. (Snow White also came but I don't have any of the pictures right now. It was soo fun for the kids!)
Sledding at Great Grandma Judd's house in Cedar City
Such a pretty view from her house
making snow angels
making delicious sugar cookies to take to some neighbors

Before Christmas my family and I went to Lego Land and Sea World.
This is the kids at the aquarium at Lego Land...
They went "sledding" at SeaWorld and Lego Land"

January is a sad month!

I'm a little in denial that Christmas is actually over so I made some pom-pom's for garland for my Christmas Tree next year!
