hair cuts and water parks...

So Taylor was having "quiet time" in my room upstairs and I decided to go check on her. i all of a sudden noticed that she looked different but couldn't figure out what was wrong. Then I noticed her 1 inch bangs on one side and realized she looked like an orphan! She totally cut her own hair. Seriously what am I going to do with her! she managed to cut my favorite pillow I sleep with every night and the cord to our monitor to hear the twins! Hopefully this will be funny in about 10 years, but probably not!

Taylor hid her hair she cut under our bed!

on a lighter note, today we got invited to go to a water park in Ladera Ranch. The girls had so much fun and so did I!
Camille and I!

Guess she's taking after her Aunt Meghan..........the scissor's Queen!! You better not have any more quiet time outs in YOUR room, only in her room. I'm STILL not laughing about all those clothes Meggie cut up.......and that's been 25 years ago!!! hahahaha!!!

Liz -I am so sorry sister! that is the worst when they destroy something and they know better - especially their hair! shoot!

Liz-Just look on the bright side...maybe she will become a great hairdresser and then she can start doing your hair for FREE!! It really looks like she actually "tapered" the sides! Is that possible? haha...

i love love her smile. That is classic. You can't even tell that she did that. But it is a good story. How about today when she asked my mom if she was lying about the pennies? AWESOME! hilarious!

Oh. My. GOSH! I bet you just died! I guess that's a rite of childhood...? I'm laughing though, because a 4 yr. old should know better when she tries to HIDE the evidence! :)

okay i would've killed her! (and i'm so glad that mom didn't kill me! and we laugh over it now, so it will be funny in ten years!) but she actually looks pretty cute! and that water park looks really fun! love and miss you

That is hilarious that she cut her own hair. My brother cut my hair once when I was a kid...I wonder if that is where my mullet came from? At least she still looks super cute!

lilly those stars are for the people i like the best! hahah, no they're the people who are private...i know some aren't yet, but they're going to be, so i just put the stars there early! got it??

Oh, Liz. Just wait. I bet you keep finding other things she cut. Hailey was grounded from scissors for a while, because we kept finding little snippets taken from pieces of clothing, the bed skirt, stuffed animals...

It was like finding hidden treasure. But not.

Oh my gosh, so funny. At least she didn't cut your hair while you were sleeping or something... could always be worse, right? and the twins are so cute... I can't tell them apart but the one in the pink swimsuit... I love her scrawny little legs. ADORABLE!!!

I am so sorry--it will be funny, as soon as it grows back. I have actually never met a girl that didn't do that when she was little. It's probably an inborn rite of passage.

So funny. I think it's a right of passage for girls to cut their hair. I shaved my eyebrow when I was little. We find that funny now.

i TOTALLY sympathize! At least it's not too obvious and she's so adorable she can get away with anything. Just pray she's not like Cambria and doesn't do it two MORE times and cut her sister's hair, too!

That is just about the worst thing that could happen. I dread that it will happen to me. You seem pretty calm about it friend.

I would die!! That is hilarious!! Always hilarious when it is someone else right? I don't want Mackenzie to discover the scissors...however, I am worried that Dave will take the scissors to her hair one day...aRG!!

Oh Lilly...you are a much more patient person than I!! Yowzers.

We all do it, my friend! I was called "butch" for a good few months at that age. I always tell Kai,"NEVER touch the scissors and cut your hair!" cause I know it's like a passage rite that I don't want him to go through.

Maybe someday soon we can hang out again. I think I may be better soon. Long time coming... miss you!
