High School Reunion

Meghan and I had our 10 year high school reunion last night and it was so much fun! I'm so glad that Meghan could come down from Utah to go with me! It was so great to see all of our friends, no one has changed at all! I felt like we were at a high school dance and I can't believe that it's already been 10 years!
They took a picture of all of the girls in our class that showed up!

My dad...

My sister Heather wrote this on her blog and I couldn't have said it better so I decided to copy and paste it to let everyone know who has asked about my dad, what is going on!
I just want to say that things happen that you aren't expecting at times. BUT... faith is strengthened and exercised by these things that happen. My dad is well loved and we have been praying for him to have a speedy recovery from his hip being broken. Than he realizes that he also broke one of his ribs... and to top it all off, he must have surgery today for skin cancer they found on his neck! He sure is living the life of Job right now - but through all of this, he has received a blessing from someone holding the priesthood and we have the faith that those blessings will be realized if we show forth our faith! It's hard to imagine that we signed up for these struggles and trials - but absolutely reassuring to know that we have a loving Heavenly Father that stands by and is always there! I am so grateful for my testimony and I am extra grateful for such a wonderful man to call my dad!

Hawaii

Rob and I just got back from Hawaii with my sister, Meghan and her husband Mark! Mark's grandma has a house in Hana and she was so nice to let us stay there! It was honestly the most beautiful place I've ever been! It was so unbelievably relaxing (nothing compared to my life at home!) We jumped off a ton of rocks, visited lots of waterfalls, went on a lot of cool hikes, swam at the beautiful Hana hotel pool, ate lots of junk food and came back probably 10 pounds heavier, but it was soo worth it!! Thank you Meghan and Mark and our families for watching our kids!! We had such a great time!

Taylor turned 5!!!

Taylor turned 5 years old and I threw a "makeover" party for her today! It was a lot of fun! We had them decorate visors...
I painted their nails and put flowers on them...

and Emily (Taylor's Aunt) did the girls hair and makeup!
It was a lot of fun decorating for it too!

The party turned out great, but I am pretty happy that it's over...for atleast a year!!!

San Fransisco...

We just got back from San Fransisco with Robert's family and it was so much fun! My mom came up and watched the kids, we left on Wednesday and stayed the night in Monterey then we were on our way to San Fransisco! Get ready to see WAY too many pictures!!!

This is us in front of the oakland temple

Riding the Ferry over to Alcatraz

We visited the Farmer's Market
A picture of Alctraz from the Ferry ride
outside Alcatraz
We went to the Giant's vs. Padre's game! The pitcher on the Giant's pitched a "no hitter" game, it was amazing and a once in a lifetime game to go to! (even though I should have been cheering for the padres!)

We visited Coit Tower
This is Lombard street! It was so beautiful!
We went to Ghirardelli two nights in a row! It was delicious!
We ate down by the Wharf at Boudin Cafe!
We visited Hearst castle on our way up to Monterey, it was so pretty!
Still Hearst Castle.
We ran on the Golden Gate Bridge
We had Kara's cupcakes 3 times!!

Here is the famous "bush man"
We took pictures with wierdo's!
This is a huge aquarium in Monterey, it was awesome!

okay so this is so ugly, but we were really desperate for a hot tub!
We met some really cool guys on the street! :)
This is almost all of us, stuck in the 15 passenger van that we took!
We had such a great time, especially with no kids! It's a little hard getting back into the routine of things after such a fun vacation!!

I threw a surprise party for Robert even though his birthday isn't for a couple of weeks! His whole family was here for a baby blessing, so I figured it was the perfect time to throw a surprise party for him!

I decided to make it look like a 3 year old spider man party since the invitation said he was turning 3 (+27).
My mom, dad and sisters and their families came up for it too! They helped out soo much and I couldn't have pulled it off without them!!
Some of my friends who were there!
After everyone got some food we had a roast for Rob! It was hilarious and everyone did such a great job!

Thanks to everyone for coming and helping out! I had such a great time and Rob was so surprised!
I love you Robby and am so glad you are a little slow when it comes to surprises so that I could pull this off! :)
