So This is pretty much all of a sudden becoming a craft blog! Every time I tell my mom that I made something, she wants to see it, so I thought I should just put it on my blog, but then I decided it would probably be better to just keep this my family blog and make a craft blog! so the address is at the bottom of this post! I decided to make a few more belts. They are just so much fun!
Then my sister-in-law Cheryl helped me make a skirt again. I wanted there to be two layers so it ended up being a little more difficult than we thought!!
I had some material left over, so I made Grace and Olivia a skirt too. Thankfully no one ever sees the other side of these projects, they look horrible! :)

Some More Projects...

I decided to make some more felt headbands...

Taylor kept asking me to buy her the skirt her friend Madyson had so that they could be matching, but it was from Gymboree last year so I decided to make it! And if you could see the inside of it, you would die! It's hilarious and it's already falling apart!

I added some felt to the girls shirts...

My sister-in-law Cheryl came over and helped me make a skirt! Thanks Cheryl!!

Dr. Seuss

Taylor had to dress up as a Dr. Seuss character today for school and she was so excited about it, until she went to school and realized she was the only one with a hat made out of paper instead of fabric! I just told her that she was really unique and made her go sit down with her class! :) She seemed happy after school, so I guess it didn't bother her too much! How annoying that at 5 years old though, she cares what other people think about her! I'm soooooooo scared for junior high and high school!!!

okay so I might be obsessed...

I said I was done but I really couldn't help it! I love making felt flowers and just flowers out of any kind of fabric!

These flowers aren't out of felt but they were really easy to make!I decided to make a belt out of felt flowers!

Grace and Olivia were so excited to wear these shirts because they thought that I made them, but all I did was just add stuff to them!

so I'm probably not done like I said I was in the last post, but hopefully my next post will be about something more important...like my kids! We just haven't done anything too cool lately, but we do have Rob's family visiting in March and we are really excited about it!!

What I've been up to...

My mother-in-law gave me all of the stuff to make this Book of Mormon quilt at Christmas time and she told us it should be a 5 year project, but the pyscho that I am couldn't wait that long and I finished it in two months instead! It took a LONG time to do each block but once I started, I really couldn't stop! Now I just need to give it to her to have it bound, I can't wait for it to be done!

I've also been working on sewing some blankets! My sister is pregnant and I"m hoping that she is having a girl so I can give her these!

And lastly I made some felt headbands for my girls for valentines day and didn't realize how easy felt was to use, so I decided to make some flowers out of them to use for headbands and hairclips. My hands are tired and I think i'm done for a while!!!

Meghan comes to town...

My sister Meghan came down to San Diego to visit! We had such a great time while she was here. I wish I would have taken more pictures!
This is at California Adventure. Meghan and I went to Disneyland on Wednesday all day, then Heather came up and met us on Thursday for California Adventure!! All 5 of us girls were able to get together because Jill came down last week too to look for houses to live! We are so excited that she will be moving out here!
We were able to go to the beach in La Jolla too but none of us had bathing suits so the kids had soaking wet clothes! We looked like tourists for sure, afterwards we went to the park they had there to let the kids dry off a little. Grace loved the taking pictures that day!

We miss you Meg, come back soon!!!!
