This is my first time trying to make a flower out of fondant....I think it looks more like a blob of fondant instead of a flower. I guess I need to wait until someone else has a birthday so that I can try again :)

Sometimes I become obsessed with a project and pom pom's is one of them. I'm seriously obsessed! After I made christmas garland I just had to make this St. Patrick's day garland and I better go so that I can finish a Valentine day one before my kids get home from school! It's crazy I know.... :)

I forgot to add that at Christmas time, not only did Santa come and visit, but Grandma had Snow White visit the kids too. All of the kids were ready for bed and they were putting together a snow white puzzle and in walks Snow White. The girls were so excited, it was adorable!

I made 3 of these heart garlands (thanks to pinterest) using paint samples from lowes! :)

I finally made the pillows for my couches and I got my lamp shades in the mail, now I just need to find a coffee table (preferably yellow or green) for the room and then maybe, finally I'll be happy with this room. This has definitely been the hardest room for me to decorate for some reason! Oh and I might need to change the coral pillow that Rob called "pink" since it definitely doesn't go with our family room.:)

Christmas 2011 part 2...

Right after we got back from Utah for CHristmas, we were headed to a beach house in Coronado. We all had our own cottage right next to each other and the kids had SO MUCH fun playing in the sand and at the beach together.

All of the kids at the Hotel del Coronado to look at the pretty Christmas lights there.

All of the adults went on a fun bike ride along the beach. It was for sure the most beautiful bike ride I'd ever been on!!

We went to the Gaslamp "Strip Club" where we got to cook our own food, it was delicious!

My mom rented out the sandcastle man (that's really what he calls himself) for 3 hours, where he taught us all how to make some really cool sandcastles.

Christmas 2011

This is our Christmas with pictures in no particular order...this is what we did...

The kids went swimming during the day while the adults went in the hot tub at night! Thankfully the Judd's have neighbors with a pool who always let us use it!

We stopped by the cabin for some delicious food and an adult game of Twister (which was hilarious to watch!)

On Christmas Eve, after all of the adults had everything laid out, we put sheets over all of the presents so that the kids couldn't see any of them before we went to church that next morning at 9. The kids were surprisingly okay with that...really weird :)

This is Grace doing some hand moves in her Christmas program. It was soo fun to watch and so hilarious!

Olivia did her Christmas songs the next day....she wanted to take a picture with her "really, really beautiful teacher", those words came straight from her mouth....She likes to tell everyone that her teacher is prettier than Grace's 60 year old teacher. (who I also LOVE by the way :))

We've gone to this house every year for the last 4 years. They have their entire downstairs completely decorated with a bunch of Christmas stuff, the kids get to pick out a toy, take a picture with Santa and have cookies and hot chocolate afterwards.....sooo incredibly cute!!

We have a our ward Christmas party and I was supposed to bring cookies so these are what I came up with. I made 30 of these and now my hands hurt! :)

On to way more important things....Taylor started basketball a few weeks ago and I LOVE watching her more than anything. It's so much fun! She loves it too, especially since Rob is her coach.

I made a striped skirt for Meghan while she was here....

and I got this fabric in the mail today! I ordered it from a friend who I grew up with, she has the cutest fabrics on her etsy shop! I got the fabric to make new pillows for my family room. I'm excited to have new pillows just not that excited to sew all of the pillows....

Thanksgiving 2011

Thanksgiving was SO much fun this year! Meghan came with her family which is always fun. My mom, sisters and I all got to leave the kids and husbands behind and go shopping and eat some yummy cheesecake factory for the entire day on Saturday. (it was supposed to be a late birthday present for Meghan, Jill and I) This is sadly the only picture I got of that day....we were too busy shopping! :)

We all went to Knotts Berry Farm. It was a BIG group and surprisingly not as busy as I thought it would be the day before Thanksgiving

Birthday Weekend...

I few months ago Rob and I found out that Brian Regan was coming to Temecula on my birthday so for the last few weeks I kept bugging Rob and saying, "we really need to get those tickets!" So finally a few days ago he said, "Okay fine I'll tell you, I got tickets for us to go see Brian Regan and we are staying in a hotel and I already have your sisters to watch our kids." I was soo excited and probably sooo annoying to Rob! :) I'm pretty sure he just told me to shut me up!

We dropped off the kids, checked into our hotel and the first thing I wanted to do was go to Hobby Lobby (it just opened). Thankfully it was my birthday and not his so that I could choose that place to go to before we went to dinner. Then we were off to dinner at Bailey's which was in old town Temecula. It was absolutely delicious. We walked around the stores down there and then went to Pechanga to go see Brian Regan. I really do LOVE him with all my heart. :) He was sooo funny. We had such a fun night. Hopefully Brian Regan can come every year in November for my birthday :)

My Grandpa is an AMAZING man! He just turned 88 and is smarter than anyone I know! We absolutely LOVE him and are so grateful to live close to him!!We were able to celebrate all weekend long for his birthday. Everyone came to my house to eat yummy taco soup that my mom made. I made some cake pops for his bday and my sister Jennifer made the most delicious Almond Sheet cake!! Then last night, just the adults went out to dinner with him...it was a fun weekend!

Busy Halloween Weekend...

On Sunday, the girls and I dressed in Orange and Black for Halloween..

I made some sugar cookies for the teachers...
Grace and Olivia got to dress up at school...they were so excited about it!

After trick-or-treating for 20 minutes, Grace and Olivia were begging to go home...all they wanted to do was pass out candy!

The twins went home with Rob and Taylor and I went trick-or-treating for a little longer with the cousins...

We went down to Scripps Ranch with my sister and mom because they were handing out candy and taking free pictures of the kids at the stores down there.

I LOVE halloween, but I love Christmas even more....can't wait!!

We stopped by my parents house before we took Family pictures with my sister heather. She is amazing at what she does! How crazy is Grace in these pictures? That is totally her personality! I love my girls more than life itself and can't imagine life with out them!

I made the circle garland for Grace and Olivia's birthday and since I'm obsessed with felt, I decided to make felt garland for my Christmas Tree.

A new felt belt...
The young women have young women in excellence tonight and I was supposed to make 20 felt belt kits for them. They will be coming to my house in a few months to make the belts! Hope they like them!!
My sister Meghan came up with the great idea to learn a new article of Faith every week and so far the girls know the first one. We are working on the second one this week...hopefully they can have them memorized by Christmas. We told them they would be getting something for learning all 13 of them. They are excited about it now but i'm sure it will die down soon. :)

And we had SUCH a fun time. I always love when Meghan comes to visit. All of the adults got babysitters and went to a haunted house. It was called "The Dark" and it was pretty lame so right after that one we went to the one at Balboa Park (which Rob, Heather, my mom and dad and I had already been to). We knew it was REALLY scary so we decided to have everyone else go to it too! It was SUCH a fun night!!

We went to Sea World and the kids convinced me to get soaking wet on this ride! It was actually really fun until you get off and you are literally soaking wet :)

My kids are OBSESSED with the photo booth on our computer. Every time I get on computer, there are ATLEAST 10 new pictures of the girls faces. It's hilarious!!

We played a game called corn hole at my dad's work party and Rob thought it was a lot of fun so he decided he wanted to make one. He bought the wood and he and the girls made it for Family Night. We all painted it together and I made some bean bags for it. Seems like a really dumb game but it's actually A LOT of fun!
We got this table from my inlaws and I decided to paint the chairs. (because that's what I do....I paint pretty much everything and I'm almost getting sick of it!)
The girls and I made some spider web cupcakes to take to some neighbors...
and I made a rose cake for a girl in my ward.
For halloween I decided that all of the girls would be flintstones! I just didn't want to pay for all of the costumes so I made them instead. Taylor is Betty, Grace is Wilma and Olivia is Pebbles. I have fabric for Rob to be Fred but it's gonna take some convincing...:) Not sure yet who I"m going to be...the girls really want me to be the purple dinosaur!

My cute niece had a birthday and came here to celebrate so I decided to make a cake and had my sister Meghan help. Sooo much fun to have family visit!!Rob went out of town to watch BYU football with his brothers in Provo so I made some sugar cookies for him to take...
then I made some Angry bird cookies for Grace and Olivia's team. They play on a coed team and one of the boys wanted their team name to be Angry Birds. It's sooo much fun to watch them play and really hilarious!

They LOVE having their dad be the coach!

I made some soccer cookies for Taylor's team too. I'm officially sick of baking :)
Taylor loves to play goalie....we'll see if she still likes it once the other teams scores on her. Her team is undefeated and I'm not sure I want to be there the day they lose, it's gonna be one sad day for lots of little girls!

Bono the Monkey

Olivia got to take Bono the monkey home from school today and she was soooo excited about it. Bono got to go to Soccer with her and play on the monkey bars and then go to bed with her! We just hope he doesn't come back anytime soon since he's been to 15 other houses and really smells bad!

I've been busy making some more hair clips...

and I had to make 8 of these sacks filled with dried corn for a corn hole game that Rob is making. Pictures of that will come later, can't wait until it's done!

Grandma and Grandpa visit!

Taylor, Grace and Olivia all started soccer this last Saturday and we had some fun visitors also!
Taylor loved that Grandma and Grandpa Judd could come to her game!

While they were here, Grandma made skirts for the girls. (in less than 24 hours too, she's amazing!!)
We tye-dyed some shirts...
made homemade granola bars, yum!
Grandpa Judd helped Rob plant an avocado tree and a fruit tree..
and they built a wall in our back yard so the sprinkler system would work better...
Rob and his dad also sanded our entire piano so that grandma Judd and I could paint it white. It took them over 5 hours to sand it and it took us all together over 10 hours to complete it!

It was so much work but so worth it! I'm so grateful to finally have a working piano in our house. Now I just need my girls (and I) to take lessons!!

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Judd, we love you!!

First day of school...

I can BARELY handle that all of the girls are in school right now. It's only 3 hours that I'm by myself but it makes me really sad that they are soo grown up. I seriously try not to cry every time I drop them off, it's soo pathetic. I love them soo very much and as hard as it is raising 3 girls I might have an even harder time having them leave me every day!

Two weeks ago we went to Arizona. On our way there we stopped in Yuma and stayed in a hotel with the kids for the first time. It was a lot of fun. It was 107 degrees out so we went in the pool that night and went in the pool the next morning. The girls loved every second of the hotel room!
We then went straight to Robs brother's house in Tuscon. The girls had SO much fun hanging out with their cousins. The girls had fun watching movies...

They played in the back with sprinklers...
oh and we fed some deer too! (sorry a little out of order) We also went swimming and got a babysitter so that Rob and I could go out with Scott and Cheryl. We had a great time and can't wait until next year! :)

Rob took Grace and Olivia camping in our backyard while Taylor and I were out of town. They loved every second of it! I think Rob loved it too since he didn't have to travel too far! Being right next to a house is my kind of camping! :)

Meghan's visit...

My sister, Meghan just left my house and I'm a little in depression! :) seriously though she is my best friend!! I flew last wednesday to Salt Lake to help her move. We started packing her stuff that night and all day thursday then on Thursday night a bunch of guys helped us move their stuff in a truck. We woke up on friday and drove 13 hours to Mesa, Arizona. We spent the night in a hotel that night and woke up early on Saturday morning because a bunch of other guys were helping us move into their house at 7! It was really hard work but soo much fun to spend time with Meghan and her kids!

Then on Monday Meghan and I drove to San Diego where she stayed at my house for a week. It was soo much fun! We went bowling, roasted hot dogs and made smores at the beach, went to Knott's soak city and Knott's berry farm, had a barbecue with my whole family at my house, went to the lake to feed the ducks and just had a really great time hanging out with family!!

we were really busy! The girls helped Rob with our garden. Grace wanted to plant Watermelon, Cantaloupe and pumpkin! We are a month or two too late but we'll see how it goes. :)

I made some banana cream pie cupcakes using this recipe. Really delicious!!

Then we were on our way to Walmart to experience the craziest thing I've ever experienced in my life!! We got some groceries, went out to the car and Rob started putting all the bags in the trunk. My purse was in the front of the cart where the kids would sit. I noticed it was there before Rob put the cart away but I thought he would see it and he didn't. After we drove 15 minutes away from Walmart I asked Rob if he grabbed my purse and he said no. I looked in the back of our car and it wasn't there! I was seriously panicking the whole way back, saying prayers, Rob was driving like a maniac to get back to Walmart!
We finally arrive and Rob parks the car in the middle of the aisle, runs to the other aisle where he had put the cart away and comes back with my purse! The crazy thing is on the way over to the cart, through the back of a guys window, Rob saw a man put my purse in the back of his seat. Rob ran over and started pounding on his window, the guy opened the door and Rob said, "No way that's my wife's purse" and reached behind the guy and grabbed my purse from his back seat! Are you kidding me????????? What a crazy experience!
I really do believe in the power of prayer and believe with all of my heart that we had help getting my purse back. If we got there literally 1 second later Rob wouldn't have seen the guy put my purse in his back seat.
I guess the moral of the story is, Prayer works, you can't trust anyone and always keep your purse with you!! :)

I decided that I wanted to try making whole wheat homemade bread and some homemade rolls since I've never done it before! I got the recipe for the bread from a friend and the rolls are from Our Best Bites blog. I'm in love with the rolls even though they look burnt! :) They were fun to make just took A LONG time!
I also thought I would try some homemade strawberry jelly. YUM!!

Yesterday my family came over to celebrate Rob and Taylor's birthday! It's always so much fun getting together with family!
A new mirror we got for our downstairs bathroom. I finally feel like this bathroom is complete!
We also got some new frames to put in our family room. I also feel like this room is finally done even though the green frame is humungous! :)

Sugar cookies for the book club I had at my house.
A girl in my ward put together a book club for some kids that are Grace and Olivia's age and it was my turn to host. They are such cute kids!
Besides making sugar cookies, they also got to paint on bread, then I toasted it and put a little butter on it for them to eat. (The edible paint is dyed milk!) The kids loved it.

Summer is going by WAY TOO FAST! I can't believe that it is already the middle of June! I wish time would slow down with my kids! How are my youngest already 5?? :(

Robert's Birthday...

Taylor wrote that sweet note to Rob for his birthday. I showed her how to write a letter on the computer and she was so excited to write one for Rob!
Robert and I were able to stay in a hotel in Downtown San Diego for his birthday, thanks to my mom and sister for watching our kids! We ate dinner at Flemmings, soooooooooooo good! Then went swimming and watched a movie. The next morning we got up, ran to Seaport Village and ate breakfast and shopped a little. We then ran back to our hotel room, showered, got dressed and then went to Balboa park. We were able to go through the Museum of Man which was really cool since I haven't been there since I was a little kid. It was soo much fun spending time with Rob and having no kids interrupting our conversation! :)

Taylor's birthday...

We had soo much fun for Taylor's birthday. Her Grandma Judd got her an American Girl doll for her birthday and so I decided to take her two cousins with her to the American Girl Doll store up in LA. My mom, Grace, Olivia, and my niece Maddie went with us too. I made a reservation to eat at the cafe there. Right when we got there Taylor got her girl's hair done and my mom paid for all of the girls to have their doll's ears pierced. It was soo cute but soo overpriced!

After we got their ears pierced it was off to the cafe. The food was DELICIOUS and the place was decorated soo incredibly adorable! The girls were in heaven. We also got to see Mario Lopez doing a special for "extra" TV. That was an added bonus :) Taylor had so much fun and keeps asking when we can go again, and I keep telling her once we can afford to go again, which won't be for a few years! :)

When we got home from the beach house, we celebrated Grace and Olivia's birthday again with my family. They have definitely been spoiled!

Right before the 4th of July weekend, 3 of my friends from High School came to visit. It was soo good seeing them!
Taylor wrote this to Rob and I thought it was really sweet.

For the 4th of July weekend we went to St. George. We had such a great time. We were able to go see The Little Mermaid live in Tuachan. The girls LOVED it! Then on Saturday we went to Beryl, UT for a family reunion! I was able to make some treats to bring too (which I LOVE doing!)

We just got back from a beach house (more pictures to come) with Rob's family and Grace and Olivia have a birthday really close to their cousin Allie so we decided to combine their birthdays.

I told Allie's mom Cheryl that I would be in charge of the decorations and the treats because I LOVE making stuff like that! :) She was in charge of all of the fun games for the 23 kids that were invited! They had soo much fun!

I made 3 white cake stands so that I could put 3 fondant cakes on them that I made. I also made all of the decorations. It was actually a lot of fun making the decorations, just A LOT of work. I also made the pink cowboy hat sugar cookies. It was a fun party and all of the kids got to go home with lots of goodies!

Michelle's Wedding

Robert's sister Michelle got married and we had sooo much fun!! My mother-in-law made the cute dresses my girls are wearing, I made the felt flowers in their hair, my sister-in-law made the adorable cake and the Aunts made all of the food for the reception. It was a lot of work but everything came together and it looked beautiful! We are so happy for Mike and Michelle!!

Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's Day! We got together with Family and friends and ate really yummy food. For Mother's Day Rob got me a barbecue (which is for father's day too:)) and a sliding retractable screen for our front door...so hopefully it won't get too hot in our house during the summer! We made chicken kabobs with vegetables. It was delicious and so fun to have everyone over!

We decided to do a photo shoot :) We probably took over 20 pictures....really embarrassing if my neighbors saw us outside!!

Easter

For Easter we drove up to St. George, had a bridal shower for my sister-in-law, searched for eggs, dyed a bunch of eggs, celebrated Grandpa's birthday and had 2 Easter egg rolls!! It was very busy, but very fun!
This first Easter egg roll was with Rob's family. They spend a lot of time on it and every year it's VERY impressive!!

After St. George we drove straight to my sister's house in Temecula for a yummy dinner and another Easter egg roll...that was much less intense but still fun :)

This week has been really busy. Last weekend I ran in the Ragnar Relay with a bunch of people from my ward, it was so much fun but VERY exhausting and i'm still trying to recover! My friends birthday was yesterday so I made a cake stand, spray painted it, then made a small cake to go on top!
I also have 2 friends who are pregnant with boys so I had made some ties for them!
Now we are off to Utah for Easter and my sister-in-law's bridal shower!

In March we went to go visit Meghan for Taylor's Spring Break. We were so excited that it snowed one of the days we were there!! The girls had so much fun in the snow even though they only lasted 5 minutes.

We went to a fun center where the kids got to go rollerskating for the first time!!
We visited BYU...and the creamery :)

We had such a great time but this is the little person that I miss the MOST!!!

We went to the Library today and Grace wanted to wear her Belle dress. I let them each pick out 5 books and every one of her books had to do with Princesses! She's a little obsessed :)
Then Grace and Olivia wanted to do a little modeling before I put the camera away. We went to see a sneek preview of "Mars Needs Moms" this morning and they were painting faces afterwards that's why Olivia has that on her face. She was so excited about it!

Daddy Daughter Dance

Taylor got to go to her first Daddy Daughter Dance and she was SO excited about it. She talked about it all week! She was so excited about spending a whole night with her dad. The Theme was "Dancing with the Stars", so I just had her wear her little spanish dress from halloween. I tried to get Rob to wear some kind of spanish thing to match with her but it wasn't happening! :)

Fun Weekend...

Since none of my kids or their cousins had school on Monday we decided to have a big sleep over. They had sooo much fun! They literally spent 5 or 6 hours making these little bead things, who knew it would keep them so occupied! On Monday we went to see the Justin Bieber movie and I'm pretty much in love!
While the cousins were here Taylor wrote this on her door: Don't Enter. Only if your going to play with girl stuff and play with Hula Hoops and eat gum and only if you have fairy's. I love my little Tay-Tay!

Valentines Weekend

I had a really fun Valentines Day weekend thanks to my mom and dad. On Saturday my mom took my sisters and I to a really yummy breakfast place called The Cottage, Delicious!!
Then we went to get Pedicures and Manicures....

Then that night our parents gave us tickets to see Brian Regan while they watched our kids! It was soo hilarious and such a fun day! :)

On Valentines Day we made heart pancakes for breakfast. The girls had a Valentines mailbox that they got a little present in every morning. This morning they all got pink CTR rings. It only took Taylor an hour to lose it in a store that morning:( At night I made some fortune cookies and we had homemade pizza that we tried to make in a heart but that wasn't happening...still really yummy though!

Rob's present to me! It's a vacuum that picks up dirt and washes the floor at the same time. I think he felt bad for me since I would be on my hands and knees washing the upstairs and downstairs floor all of the time like Cinderella!

Rob and I took the girls to Old Town because they had a Mormon Batallion commemoration today. It was really fun and the girls loved it. They got to make their own little dolls and toast some biscuits on a stick! We also visited the first school ever built in San Diego. There is so much to do in Old Town, it brought me back to being in 8th grade for a minute! :)

Christmas Vacation

we had SUCH a fun Christmas! My sister Meghan and her whole family came out to stay with us for 2 weeks! My girls love their kids so much. Especially baby Lilly!!
We had a gingerbread house contest and asked one of our neighbors to judge them. Meghan and I did one together, its the all white one below. My sister Jennifer did the bottom left one (and got 1st place) and my other sister Heather did the one on the bottom right.

We went and looked at Christmas lights and visited a place close to us called Santa's house where they decorate their house, Santa Claus is there and they give each kid a toy. SOO fun! We also went to Lego Land, once right before Christmas and once on New Years Day. New Years Day is definitely the day to go, there was NO ONE there, it was so much fun!

We made it to the beach one time because Meghan's kids never get to go to the beach. The water was freezing, but the kids didn't care, they had fun playing in the sand and water!

We went to Belmont Park one day where they have a bunch of rides right by the beach. We were also able to go ice skating and bowling. It was my girls first time going ice skating and they LOVED it, it looks like we might have to go back pretty soon.

On Christmas Eve we had a yummy dinner and then had a gift exchange, which my parents funded! We all went to the mall to get our gifts for the person's name we chose. Then Rob and I and Meghan and Mark put all of the gifts out for our kids, it was so much fun!

On Christmas day we opened our presents and then my mom and dad came up and brought dough with them to make Christmas Candy canes. They are delicious and we grew up eating them every Christmas. They stayed up really late making the dough and the filling so my dad fell asleep on the couch! :) Rob made some cotton candy with the girls, it was one of their presents that they were really excited about. That night we went to my sister's house to eat another yummy dinner and open up some more gifts! It was such a great Christmas. Thanks mom and dad!!

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we went to St. George. The girls had a lot of fun seeing their cousins, although they missed their other cousins too who couldn't be there because their mom was having a baby! :) The Thanksgiving dinner was DELICIOUS!

Santa Claus came to the house on Saturday morning to visit the kids and give them some pajamas. Rob's mom had him come last year too, the kids were so excited to see him!! I'm so thankful for this time of year. We are super busy but it's soo much fun!!

My 30th Birthday...

For my 30th Birthday Rob's mom came down and watched the kids while I went to Las Vegas with my 4 sisters and mom! We had such a fun time. My sister Meghan just had a baby 3 months ago so she brought her little baby. She is such an adorable baby, although it took her some time to get used to 5 new faces as you can see in the picture below with her and my mom. We pretty much attacked her right when she came out of the airport!

When Meghan and I came back from the airport, our hotel room was decorated and they had a really yummy bundt cake for us to eat! Try not to look too close at the Glamour shots, seriously they are so ugly!

We did lots of shopping...

and eating and we got to see The Phantom of the Opera and Jersey Boys while we were there.

We got pedicures and went to the M&M store. When we were in there we saw Mark and Sunshine from the Biggest Loser! So we of course had to take a picture with them.:)

We had such a great time just being together, I loved every second of it! Thank you soooo very much mom for making it happen!!!

Halloween Weekend..

We started the weekend by getting Taylor and her cousin Ethan out of school a little early so that Jill and I could take the kids to Sea World. I love that place! Then the next day we went to a Scooby Doo Haunted House with my mom and sister Jill. After we left the Haunted House we went over to Scripps Ranch where they were giving away free candy in all of their stores which the kids loved! We then headed over to our Trunk-or-treat! We had a VERY busy day getting candy and more and more candy!
My mother-in-law went to Spain and bought these dresses and she let me borrow them for their halloween costumes. I decided to use the same hair things that the girls used last year when they were Mulan. This is Olivia, she really wanted her picture taken by herself.
Taylor also wanted a picture, I couldn't get Grace to take a picture!

So Taylor started first grade today! She was so happy last night to meet new people until we went to school this morning. Hopefully she'll have a good day today. Everyone told me she had the teacher that all the mom's try and get their kids in, so that's good! She has her cousin Ethan who is in Second grade going to the same school as her too which she was pretty excited about. We'll see what she has to say when she gets home from school...it seems like a great school though and everyone is so friendly!

So we finally moved down to San Elijo Hills, San Marcos but not into a house yet. We are still waiting (patiently...kindof) to hear about the short sale house that we have an offer on. So now we are in a 3 bedroom apartment. We have our cousin Baily visiting us for a few days and Rob and I have been so stressed out so I decided to sort of make tonight a date night. :) I made fruit with dip, taco soup and chocolate chip brownies. I had Taylor and Bailey write the menu and a sign that said "please wait to be seated" for Rob when he came home from work. The girls got so excited to help out and it was really fun and gave us an excuse to sit down and talk. It was nice to have the girls serve us (even though of course I had to make the entire dinner)! Hopefully we'll have an update soon about our house.
ps. We REALLY miss orange county and our friends soo very much! :(

A visit to St. George and Salt Lake...

The girls and I drove to St. George to visit Rob's family. When we first got there, Robert's brother scott and his wife and kids were there. My girls were so excited to see them; they had to leave the next day and my kids were really sad to have their cousin Allie leave them! The first night we got there, the girls made a tower out of ice cream cones and icing.
A few days later (with the help Robert's mom and sisters) I was able to go see Meghan have her 3rd baby. I drove as fast as I could and thought that I would for sure miss the whole thing, but I got there at 11:30 and her baby wasn't born until 3:30. Meghan had an adorable baby girl named Lilly; she's so sweet and Meghan looked beautiful of course! :)

I drove back from Salt Lake the next day and when I got back to St. George we all went to see Tarzan at the Tuachan theater. It was so unbelievably amazing and Taylor loved it!!

It was such a fun trip! I also went to St. George because Michelle's boyfriend just came home from his mission and we might have spied on him at the airport and spied on him a few times at his house. :) It was so much fun and they are so cute together. :)

Taylor turns 6!!

Thankfully there is a pool where we live right now and so I decided that an easy party for Taylor would be a pool party. I've pretty much done that almost every year since she was born because it's soo hot in July. We had so much fun! My two sisters, Mom, Dad and Grandpa were all able to be there too, which was the best!! Thanks to everyone who came, Taylor felt very special! :)

A VERY busy July!!

July is always soo busy. It's Robert and Taylor's birthday and it's our anniversary. I will be gone on our anniversary this year so I decided to surprise Rob with going to a hotel in downtown San Diego. He thought we were just going out to dinner, but then after dinner I gave him a card and told him to pretend he was on the bachelor (just not dating 13 other girls) :) It said if he would like to forgo a room at my parents house than he could enjoy the fantasy suite with me at the Hotel Solemar. (for all of you bachelor lovers out there, you understand the card) and of course rob knew since he watches the bachelor with me! (sorry rob!) He was so excited and thanks to my parents we were able to have such a great time with no kids!

The next day we woke up at 9:45 (which was the best thing in the whole world) and went for a run to seaport village and ate breakfast. Then got ready at the hotel and stopped by Old Town before we got back to real life. It was sooo much fun celebrating his birthday and our anniversary!
The day we got back from the hotel happened to be Taylor's birthday so she opened a few presents and we went out for her birthday to Fuddruckers, then we were off to see the Shrek movie.
I cannot believe that i have a 6 year old! what is going on here :)

Grace's Cast is off!

4th of July

Okay so this is a little late but we had a great 4th of July!! On Saturday we went swimming with our friends the Deckers, then got together with them on Sunday for a bbq and some fireworks! We had so much fun!!

My sister Jill and her family got here on Sunday, so we were able to spend monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with them at my parents house. We had a great time with them and we are so excited that they are moving here! On wednesday Taylor and I woke up early to get surgery on her tongue. She is tongue-tied, which is too hard to explain, but she had to get surgery at my dad's office. She was very brave and I'm so glad it's over!!

Meghan and her two kids came to visit us! We had so much fun with her. (She is also 8 months pregnant with a girl) We were all able to get together for Father's Day with DELICIOUS food!

Grace and Olivia's bday

Since we moved into my sister-in-law's house, I packed EVERY single thing away to decorate for a party, even all of my cooking stuff! (we are in this house waiting to find out about a house down in San Elijo Hills) So for Grace and Olivia's birthday I decided to take them and their friends to go see Toy Story 3. They even had Toy Story 3 cupcakes at the store! It was awesome! Totally ghetto but they loved it. :)

Judd Grandkid Vacation...

We just got back from a beach house with Rob's family. It's called a Judd Grandkid Vacation so everyone from the Judd side of the family goes! We had so much fun and packed in so much in one week. These pictures are in no order at all...

One of the nights all of the cousins and their spouses went to eat at Pedro's Tacos. It was delicious, but I think they were a little overwhelmed when about 30 of us walked in! :)

We bought a brand new house, not even done being built yet! We pick out the flooring this week, it's in Carlsbad and it's beautiful! we are sooo excited and feel so blessed that everything is working out so far!

MEXICO!!!!

We just back from Mexico last night and we had such a great time! Here we are getting ready to leave and then arriving in Puerto Vallarta. We stayed at a little place called Punta De Mita, it was so beautiful! We went with our friends Sara and Wade who were celebrating their 10 year anniversary! This is the view outside our place. There was a pool right off the beach and a pool on the top deck. No one was there so we basically had the place to ourselves! That's Sara's feet in the picture below, she wanted to be able to see the pool and then the ocean from where we were sitting! Wade and Rob used the Kayak's and Paddle Boards a bunch of times while Sara and I read books and laid out!
We went out to eat every night to a bunch of fun places. Thankfully Wade spoke Spanish!!
We went snorkeling and almost died on the boat out there (it was the scariest boat ride of my life!), we walked along the beach and sipped on Pina Colada's! (virgin of course) :)
We ate out at the restaurant in the hotel, it was beautiful and we sat right on the beach.
We had such a relaxing time, now it's on to packing my house up! (what a crappy way to end a vacation!) Thanks for inviting us Sara and Wade, we had blast!!!

My kids will especially be sad once they realize what's going on. They love their cousins so much, it just won't be the same without them here!

I decided to make some more felt headbands...

Taylor kept asking me to buy her the skirt her friend Madyson had so that they could be matching, but it was from Gymboree last year so I decided to make it! And if you could see the inside of it, you would die! It's hilarious and it's already falling apart!

Taylor had to dress up as a Dr. Seuss character today for school and she was so excited about it, until she went to school and realized she was the only one with a hat made out of paper instead of fabric! I just told her that she was really unique and made her go sit down with her class! :) She seemed happy after school, so I guess it didn't bother her too much! How annoying that at 5 years old though, she cares what other people think about her! I'm soooooooo scared for junior high and high school!!!

I said I was done but I really couldn't help it! I love making felt flowers and just flowers out of any kind of fabric!

These flowers aren't out of felt but they were really easy to make!I decided to make a belt out of felt flowers!

Grace and Olivia were so excited to wear these shirts because they thought that I made them, but all I did was just add stuff to them!

so I'm probably not done like I said I was in the last post, but hopefully my next post will be about something more important...like my kids! We just haven't done anything too cool lately, but we do have Rob's family visiting in March and we are really excited about it!!
